GirlFriday
GirlFriday are an alternative indie pop duo, comprising of singer songwriter Emma and co-writer and producer Nick James Gordon. Their songwriting is influenced by a wide selection of artists and genres including Madonna, Annie Lennox, Bjork and The Beatles. GirlFriday will release a series of eps showcasing their diverse song writing style. Ruth Merry trained at the London College of Music and Media and graduated with a first-class honours degree in 2001. After winning an international song writing competition (Unison) in 1998, Songlink International magazine wrote: “Ruth Merry, the youngest artist on the project …won the hearts of many of the writers with her beautiful voice and a musical sensibility that is way beyond her years”.

Since finishing a degree in music Chris Woods has been crafting an exciting path in acoustic instrumental guitar. As well as pulling together a range of exotic techniques Chris Woods creates and manipulates groove to produce virtuosic music that is seriously rythmic and seriously addictive…. Exclusively using acoustic guitar and a wooden stomp box, Chris has developed a live show that is gaining him an increasing reputation and an ever expanding fan base…

James Lusby
James has released his debut album ‘Pelican Hill’, which features the tracks ‘Start Again’ ‘Pelican Hill’ and ‘Fear of Lonelyness’. James & Nick have collaborated closely recording & re-working a lot of James’ songs and giving them a new lease of life. The songs reflect the wide range of music James listens to which in turn has generated an album that although diverse in sound; is glued together through James’ vocals.

KOLO
Kolo are a 3 piece indie band from the south west, and have played over 200 gigs across the the UK. In the spring of 2008 KOLO embarked on a three month American tour, starting in Nashville, Tennessee. They performed relentlessly all the way from New York right down to the Mississippi Gulf Coast. KOLO supported 3 Doors Down during the UK leg of their October tour, playing sell-out shows at the IndigO2, Glasgow Carling Academy, Bristol Carling Academy and Manchester Academy. KOLO sold over 800 copies of the ‘Vikings EP’ on the tour.
